Position Description: CommIT Enterprises, Inc. provides PMW 230 with Functional Experts and Field Service Representative/ Trainers that support Marine Corps Maintenance, Supply, Financial and System Administration; and Field Service Representatives. Services include specializing in disadvantaged (e.g. deployed shipboard environments) and disconnected (e.g. tactical environments) networking environments to ensure Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps/Logistics Chain Management (GCSS-MC/LCM) services and capabilities align with Marine Corps processes, policy and procedures.
Functions include, but are not limited to contributing to and reviewing technical and operational requirements documentation, supporting development and deployment of services, system performance monitoring, identifying and documenting system performance problems, knowledge transfer and training, supply and maintenance readiness analysis and reporting, supporting the GCSS-MC/LCM Service Desk and problem escalation process, responding to Fleet assistance requests, resolving Fleet issues regarding GCSS-MC/LCM performance and conducting Government testing to verify Material Developer / System Integrator (MD / SI) solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain related scientific or technical discipline.
Substitution: Education may be substituted with ten (10) years of Marine Corps experience, in the Retail Supply (SMU/Reparable Issue Point/RIP) and Organizational Supply field. Five (5) of the ten (10) years must be within the last eight (8) years.
Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years’ work experience with operational views, systems views, and other architecture products for the Logistics Enterprise Architecture based on the Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) Model. Three (3) of the eight (8) years must be within the last five (5) years.
Functional knowledge or hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 modules including Item master and Bill Of Material, Inventory, Order Management, Spares Management, Installed Base, Demantra, Advanced Planning Suite (Oracle Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization and Advanced Supply Chain Planning), Demand Planning, Quality, Warehouse Management, OBIEE, Management Dashboards and Universal Work Queue.
End User experience with USMC legacy applications Supported Activities Supply System (SASSY), Asset Tracking Logistics Automated System (ATLASS) and Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS).
Functional knowledge or hands-on experience with DoD MILSTRIP and MILSTRAP supply transactions. Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis with respect to all designed GCSS Logistic processes. Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a dynamic service level environment.
Travel: Minimal non-local travel is anticipated. <25%
